Les Blank Food Film Fest at The Silent Movie Theater

The Silent Movie Theater on Fairfax in LA is hosting a wonderful month-long series of the legendary documentarian Les Blank's food-themed films beginning this Friday.

Some of you may have been lucky enough to attend the Process salon a couple years ago when Les Blank came to the Feral Process compound to show a copy of his mind blowing, very rarely screened film A Poem Is a Naked Person, the documentary banned by it's subject, Leon Russell. Man, that was a beautiful gathering of folks.

Rumor has it SMT director Hadrian Belove will be cooking food in the back of the Silent Movie Theater like Les used to during screenings for a tantalizing aromarama effect!!
