Habeas corpus, we hardly knew ye.

"Unlawful enemy combatant" n. Any person who the Bush administration deems a threat, upon whom is suspended the writ of habeas corpus and the protocol of the Geneva Conventions. The unlawful enemy combatant was held for two years without being charges and suffered torture during that time before being released.
