California has always been the cutting edge of America's spiritual culture. Erik Davis, independent scholar and author of The Visionary State: A Journey Through California's Spiritual Landscape, will explore the past and future of the Golden State's alternative religious culture through the lens of architecture and sacred space.

After Davis’ lecture, in celebration of Manly P. Hall’s birthday on March 18th, Maja D’Aoust (lecturer, PRS librarian, and author of The Secret Source) will present a short discussion and interpretive reading of Hall’s natal astrological chart.

After the lecture, snacks and tea will be served in the reception hall.

Manly P Hall was recognized by the American Federation of Astrologers as a “National Resource” on astrology and his library contains over 300 volumes on astrology related subjects.

Maja D’Aoust studies astrology in its mythological and psychological contexts and reads natal charts as symbolic languages which can help define an individual’s superpowers and strengths as well as their perilous pitfalls.
